CASTLE COTTAGE

Castle Cottage is over 200 years old, and originally formed part of the Duke of Northumberlands stable block.  The cottage has an enviable location in Kielder Forest Park and a fabulous view of Kielder Castle.  

​Kielder is famous for its International Dark Sky status and we are only 2.5 miles from award winning Kielder Observatory with its wide range of stargazing events.

Relax and unwind in our comfortable and cosy cottage. Enjoy our spacious gardens and summer house.  Red squirrels and a variety of birds are regular visitors !

 

We have 2 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 4/5 guests. Two well behaved dogs are also welcome.

Bring your bikes - we have secure bike storage together with off road parking for 2/3 vehicles. 

 

Got an EV? - An EV charger is available for your use. Your exact usage is metered and charged to you via an App.

Castle Cottage is equally perfect for a peaceful relaxing break or an adventure packed holiday - enjoy outdoor activities by day and be mesmerised by our spectacular dark skies at night.

- Kitchen ad Dining Room with electric oven and induction hop.  Two undercounter fridges with iceboxes, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, air fryer, kettle and toaster.  Dining table and 4 chairs.

- Bathroom - Bath with overhead shower, WC and wash basin.

- Master bedroom with king sized bed .  A folding single guest bed is also available on request.

- Second bedroom with double bed

- Bed linen and towels are provided.
